Trixie Natural Pine Bark Terrarium Substrate 10 L

Trixie natural pine bark is a 10-litre bag of decorative bark substrate designed for use in terrariums, vivariums, and reptile enclosures. It creates a naturalistic forest floor environment that supports the well-being of tropical and subtropical reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates by helping to regulate humidity and providing a comfortable surface for movement and burrowing.

The bark pieces are sourced from natural pine and processed to remove sharp edges and excess dust, producing a safe, comfortable substrate layer. Pine bark effectively absorbs and retains moisture, contributing to stable humidity levels within the enclosure — a critical factor for the health of many tropical species. Spread the bark to a depth of 3 to 5 cm across the enclosure floor. Spot-clean daily to remove waste and replace the entire substrate periodically to maintain hygiene.
